This session will help you to actually begin to incorporate greening into your remodeling projects. You will understand the key elements in greening a kitchen and bath renovation. Through descriptive case studies, we will describe specific strategies and show you how they are implemented. We will highlight specific solutions that make good economic and environmental sense while adding beauty, functionality, and durability to your kitchen and bath spaces.
REGREEN & Deep Energy Retrofit
In this final session of our three part series, we will explore the key elements in maximizing a home`s energy efficiency. We will learn how to accomplish home energy reductions of 50-90% through conducting a home performance audit and addressing all energy loads within the home and the condition of the building envelope. Energy reductions of this magnitude require an extensive systems approach and we will explore and honor the relationships between energy, indoor air quality, durability and thermal comfort.
